Dr. Kirill Jordan

BSc, BClinChiro

Kirill is a graduate of Murdoch University. With a 10-year background in personal training, a love for lifting heavy things, and a particular interest in sports chiropractic, he believes in using an evidence-based biomechanical approach to treatment of acute and chronic pain with the aim of returning movement & function, as well as improving athletic performance.

Appointments with Kirill are generally a bit longer than at some other practices – this is because he believes treatment should be tailored to each patient rather than having a “one size fits all” service. Imaging is used only when clinically indicated and is used in conjunction with clinical assessment. He places strong emphasis on active care, as well as soft tissue treatment and other modalities with the aim of achieving long-term results.

Kirill has spent some time working in Broome, which provided him the opportunity to treat a wide demographic and a variety of conditions. While he is sports focused, you don’t have to be an athlete to benefit from his care!

Kirill is a proud father to his two year old daughter. In his spare time you’ll find him at the gym, spending time with his family or going for a dip in the ocean.

What is Chiropractic?

‘Chiropractic’ comes from the Greek words cheir (meaning hands) and praktos (meaning done) – that is, “done by hand”. It focuses on diagnosing and treating neuromuscular conditions that impact your everyday life with a variety of manual techniques.

Doctors of Chiropractic are spine and musculoskeletal (MSK) system experts specifically trained to diagnose, treat and prevent pain, restore movement & mobility and prevent reoccurrence so people can lead healthy active lives. The Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Clinical Chiropractic is a 5-year university degree that includes training in human anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiology, pharmacology, rehabilitation and physical therapy, just to name a few, and involves extensive clinical practice.

Patients usually come to a chiropractor seeking treatment of pain, in particular back pain and neck pain. However, many people are not aware that chiropractic treats any joint that is causing pain, and a much wider range of problems including stiffness, injuries, and rheumatological conditions such as arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. Improving joint mobility can also reduce the chance of injury and help prevent degenerative change.

Sports chiropractic is a rapidly expanding branch of chiropractic that focuses on providing care to athletes, with the aim of performance optimisation through improved joint mobility and range of motion, injury treatment and prevention, and improving strength & power. Shared care with a multi-disciplinary team is ideal to provide the best possible outcome for each athlete.

Chiropractic Care for Pain Relief

Life is too short to live with pain!

Have you been ‘pushing through’ or ignoring pain but finding it increasingly difficult to do the things you love?

Chiropractic care is based on the strong belief that the body has an innate ability to heal itself, and the best conditions for healing are normal movement. By use of manual therapy techniques such as joint manipulation, mobilization, soft tissue therapy, strapping/bracing and cupping, we can help you restore your range of motion, reduce pain and find your way back to normal movement.

Once this has been achieved, we are here to help with your physical goals by providing you with education, postural correction, and exercise prescription. We see this as a critical piece in your management so that you can learn how to stay pain-free while remaining active and chasing your physical goals and aspirations.

Our approach is evidence-based and client centered, meaning our decisions about your treatment are based on current evidence, and care is tailored to you and your goals. With this safe and sensible approach we have helped many patients achieve pain resolution while remaining active and healthy.
