What does chiropractic care have to do with strength and athletic performance?
Because of his background in personal training (and love of lifting), Kirill’s approach to chiropractic care is sports-orientated, and one of his passions is optimising strength and performance.
Chiropractic has been used at the Olympic Games since 1980, and is used around the world by many large sporting organisations. Athletes who received chiropractic care at the World Games in 2013 were treated with soft tissue therapy, adjustment, taping, and mobilisation, and 86% reported immediate improvement.1 One recent study of 110 active duty military personnel with low back pain found that chiropractic care improved strength and endurance.2 Clearly, chiropractic care has benefits to offer athletes in various sports.

Additionally, prescription of exercise to improve strength, movement and power in a particular movement, or to achieve a particular goal (such as increasing a lift PB, improving a golfing swing, or beating a track time) requires a knowledge base of anatomy, biomechanics, and pathology – and a passion for sport, all of which you will find at Carbon.
